Welcome to ToolNest. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ToolNest website, all of the free browser-based utilities published on it, and any related content, features, or communications (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ToolNest. If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Permitted use

ToolNest is a free set of client-side utilities you may use for personal, educational, or commercial purposes. You may embed the results produced by our tools (for example, a generated slug, formatted JSON output, or a calculator result) into your own work without attribution. You may not, however, resell access to our tools as your own product, scrape the site in a way that overloads our servers, or attempt to reverse-engineer or clone the entire service.

3. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use the Service to (a) violate any law or regulation; (b) infringe the intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of any third party; (c) upload, generate, or transmit malware, illegal content, or content that harasses or defames others; (d) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without written permission; (e) circumvent authentication or security controls; or (f) use automated systems to send excessive traffic that interferes with other users' experience.

4. Intellectual property

All content published on ToolNest — including the underlying source code of the tools, article text, illustrations, logos, layout, and design system — is owned by ToolNest or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may share a link to any page on the site freely. You may not, however, copy or republish substantial portions of our written content, mirror the site, or use our branding to imply endorsement without our prior written permission.

5. Your content

Because our tools run entirely in your browser, the text, files, and numbers you enter into them stay on your device. We do not claim ownership of anything you type into a tool, and we do not store or transmit it. You are responsible for making sure that anything you process through the Service — for example, text you paste into a checker or an image you compress — is yours to use and does not violate the rights of any third party.

6. Third-party services and links

The Service may include advertising and links to third-party websites, resources, and services (for example, ads served by Google AdSense, documentation on other sites, or reference material linked from our articles). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party site. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific calculator, converter, or generator will produce results appropriate for your particular use case.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TOOLNEST, ITS OPERATORS, OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ToolNest and its operators from any claim, demand, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

10. Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the location of the site operator, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer-protection laws grant you a right to sue in your local courts.

12. Advertising and third-party services

ToolNest is a free service supported by third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. By using the Service you agree that we may display advertising on the pages you visit, including personalised advertising where local law permits and you have not opted out. Third-party advertisers are responsible for the content of their own advertisements, and we do not endorse any particular product or service that may be advertised. 13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is harmful to the business interests of ToolNest. 14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and ToolNest regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements between you and ToolNest relating to the same subject matter.
